History:
Elysia Persephone Nott was born into the world as the first child of Theodore and Tracey Nott on a rainy day in March. Her parents, who had only been married three months before learning that Tracey was pregnant with their first child, were delighted. And therefore she wasn't their only child either, but was of course, the eldest, and Ellie loved that fact.
As a baby, Elysia was no trouble at all. She never cried, was never sick and mostly slept all the time. However, that all changed when became a toddler. Learning that she could get around by using the two things called legs, she often ran around a lot, or in fact ran off. At that stage, she never had any fears, and so was not against running from her parents when out to a shop that she wanted to go in.
One day the family were shopping at Hogsmeade and Ellie ran off, and did not reappear for an hour. Of course, Theodore and Tracey had been worried and had been searching frantically for her after five minutes of her disappearance. However, whatever happened to Ellie that day had changed her, and she never wandered off again, keeping very close to her mother.
It was fairly easy-going after that, and Ellie grew into a calm and quiet child, that was obedient and loved her parents. However, one day when she was seven everything went slightly wrong. Her parents were downstairs, and Elysia’s friend was over whilst her mother was out somewhere. They were on the second floor, playing a game. Ellie had been hiding in her bedroom, and when her friend had come to find her, she ran out onto her balcony. Looking back to see if she was chasing her, Ellie didn’t stop running until it was too late. She had fallen over the medium-height wall that was there to stop anyone falling off and she fell to the ground below.
Elysia was immediately rushed to Snt. Mungos, where her broken left arm and badly-injured shoulder were repaired. She still has a scar on her shoulder, a reminiscent of that day, and since then she has had a fear of heights. It was soon after that that her parents told her that she would be going to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she turned eleven. They told her all about the houses and subjects she would learn there, and to tell the truth, Ellie couldn't wait until she turned eleven and could go off to the school. Of course, she had never been away from her family for such a long time before, but because she was a social person, she couldn't wait to meet new people.
And of course, on her eleven birthday, Elysia received the letter to Hogwarts. On the train journey there, she had no trouble meeting new friends that were in her year, because although she is snide and cunning, she is able to socialize well. She was expecting to be in the same houses as her mother and father, and when she sat on that stool, she found it was rather the same as her parents had told her. The hat was placed upon her head but was a little too big and therefore shielded her eyes, so she could not see anything around her. The hat, in fact, sat there for about a minute, but to Elysia it felt like eternity, until announcing she was a ‘______!’.
Appearance:
At a first glance, it isn’t clear at all which traits she inherited from her mother and which from her father. Whilst in other families, it is easy to say ‘he has his grandfather’s nose’ or ‘she has her mother’s eyes’, Elysia isn’t like that at all. So lets start at the top and work our way down. Ellie’s hair, unlike her mother’s and her father’s, is a blonde color. Most say it is closer to her mother’s shade rather than her father’s; as he was a dark brunette. However, when standing next to each other, it is clear to say that Ellie’s hair is nothing like her mother’s. Sure, it’s blonde. But only just. Depending on the season, her hair can go from blonde, to dirty blonde, to almost a light auburn. It is very thick and naturally wavy, which Elysia finds a pain in the arse, as she has to either straighten it or curl it to make it look presentable.
Her face is very much so in proportion and quite normal; she has high cheekbones, a rounded chin and rarely gets spots. The rare times that she does, she will do anything to get rid of them, because she loves having a perfect complexion. This is why you rarely see her properly frowning, because she’s worried that she will get wrinkles at a young age. And you can call her vain, because she knows she is. In fact, nearly every mirror she walks past she has to look at herself, just to check that she is looking alright. Her eyes are a bright green color, but around that iris it is more of a blue color. However, it is only if you stand right in front of her face that you notice that little trait, so not many people know that.
From the neck down, Ellie is slim and tall, standing at 5 foot 8 and she would not be surprised if she grows even taller within the next few years, judging by the height of her father and brothers. But most importantly, she is a girl, and definitely has the curves to show it.

Personality:
If it wasn't for her cunning, controlling and sarcastic manner and wanting to be a 'bad girl', Elysia would've probably been quite a nice person. She is brave and protective, and although not exactly the sharpest girl in the school, she definately is fairly hardworking. She loves her cloest family and friends and loves being in the limelight, so she was, when sitting on the stool with the Sorting Hat on her head, generally hard to sort. So, lets start with her 'good side'.
Ellie has loyal and protective down to a tee. Growing up the oldest of her siblings, she learnt that she was to look after them all, and devolped her loyalty then. She also became very protective, and although doesn't like showing it, makes sure all her siblings are all right and nothing is troubling them. If they get into fights, Elysia will back them up, and normally drags her friends into the fight as well, just because she wants to prove she loves her siblings and would do anything for them.
However, she also has her bad side. At times, Ellie is snide and sarcastic, and if she takes a dislike to someone, she will not hide her feelings. She believes that everyone should be honest [well, most of the time anyway] and so doesn't see the point of holding back her feelings.
Ellie only hears what she likes. And she does not like the word no. If she wants something, she will not cease to get it, something that has been carried with her since her childhood. Because she has come from a fairly wealthy family, she was blessed with getting whatever she wanted since a young age, and never wants that to stop, because she likes it too much. Just the pleasure of showing off a new item or new clothes is too great, and she cannot resist doing it. And to show off new things, she has to buy them. Well, her father has to buy them anyway.
It takes a lot to get Elysia angry, as she appears calm and collected most of the time, but if someone pushes her to breaking point, she will blow. She mostly keeps her anger bottled up and sometimes allows herself to let it out on an unsuspecting stranger or an animal [which can't talk, so therefore can't argue back with her]. But if someone constantly annoys her, she will eventually snap. Because she was brought up with manners, she rarely uses violence in public, instead hexing someone or finding a sly and cunning way of revenge. However, if she's out of public, she will use violence, and although quite fragile-looking, she can slap hard.
Sample Roleplay:
Looking up from the newspaper she was currently reading, Scarlette narrowed her eyes and laid the paper to rest on the wooden surface. The noise of two men entering the pub had interrupted her, and if there was one thing she didn't like, it was being interrupted. Her blue orbs watched them plainly, no expression showing on her pale face as they took a seat to the right of her, near the wall. Sure, the place was almost empty, apart from the two men, herself and the waiter who was cleaning a table, and eerily silent, but soon it would be full to the brim of the Friday-night drunks who caused more noise than anyone else.
Of course, you may ask what she was doing there, by herself, reading the Daily Prophet, but in all truth, she didn't know. Will had said that he would meet her here after he had finished at work. But what time was he coming? And why here? Scarlette grumbled to herself for not asking him any questions. Of course, at the time she hadn't wanted to, because he had been smiling and waving at her, walking away. Their friendship was at a high at that point and she hadn't wanted to spoil the moment by asking him questions. Oh she was stupid. Who seriously cared about 'moments' when she could be stuck here all night?
The men were looking at her. She couldn't see them, as she was facing the other way, but she could feel their stares burning a hole in the back of her head. She grimaced, hating the feeling of being looked at, before deciding that it was best to ignore them, ignore everyone, and read the newspaper. Picking up the ivory-colored paper with a pale-colored hand, she opened it to page fifteen and began reading an article on some illegal baby dragons that had been found in a flat in Birmingham.
The door opened again, and Scar looked up anxiously, wondering if it was Will. Alas, it was another man, this time younger, in his twenties. She observed him for a few moments before looking back at the paper, hearing footsteps coming over to where she sat at the bar. He stood beside her, waiting to be served by the waiter, who scurried from the table he was cleaning to behind the bar, ready to serve the gentleman. Surely this was a sign that the drunks were soon to be arriving, as this gentleman, apparently not intoxicated too much, but still smelling strongly of Firewhiskey, had just arrived. Oh how great.
"What would you like sir?" The polite and low voice of the waiter reached her ears, and Scarlette kept her eyes on the paper, but she wasn't reading. Instead, she was listening to the short conversation the waiter and the man would now have. And sure enough, his voice came after a clearing of his throat "A firewhiskey, and whatever the young lady will have." His voice was slightly slurred, and she raised her head at his words. She was the only female in the room. Surely no-one but a freak brought a drink for someone he did not know.
She felt both pair of eyes on her and she looked up at the waiter, trying to keep her eyes anywhere but on the man stood next to her. She pouted slightly before telling him "No thank you, I'm not here for long." She smiled sweetly at the waiter before her blue eyes once more falling back on the paper in front of her, pretending to read it but secretly, her eyes weren't focused on anything. She was readying herself for whatever the man smelling strongly of Firewhiskey next to her would say.
