Abby was out on the lawns watching the clouds. she for no reason started to sing softly but boldly a song that she had stuck in her head.

You cant stop an avalanche

She started out laying down but by time she was finished, she was up and dancing. she didn't care if anyone would be around, because she was having fun.she loved the song from Hairspray.

Some people just didn't know how to quit. Ms. Isabella Swann walked across the lawns. She had just received a letter from her mother, criticizing her. Bella was used to it, but it still made her mad. She just continued to walk across the lawns.

Now her outfit today could turn any guys' head. Her skirt was way too short, her shirt was like thread, and she had her hair down across her right shoulder. She was covered in glitter. She looked really "sexy" as the guys would put it.

Then, she spotted her prey. A Gryffindork, alone, all by herself. Bella heard the Gryffindor singing. She walked towards her. Once she got to her, she stood there with her arms crossed. "You know...for a Gryffindork, you don't sing half bad. Bella. Bella Swann," Bella said to the girl.

Abby spun around at the sound of Bella's voice. it had indeed spooked her slightly that someone was listening to her."Thanks.... I think" said Abby not sure if she should take it as a compliment. "nice to Meet you Bella, I am Abby Peters." she said nicely as she could while hating her. she smirked and said"I suppose you are a slytherin? am i right?"she rolled her eyes at her outfit. it just fueled her suspicion that Slytherins always dress like whores. at least Abby had enough sense to be dressed in jeans and a t-shirt.

She rolled her eyes and licked her lips. "Of course I'm a Slytherin. Is that a problem?" she said, still trying to be nice. She ran her fingers through her hair, making it fall behind her on her back. She sat down on the grass next to Abby.

"Now...what is a Gryffindork...I mean, Gryffindor like you doing out here all by yourself? Do you enjoy being by yourself or something?" Bella said, looking out onto the lake. She brought her legs up to her chest and started messing with the necklace her last boyfriend, Scotty, had gotten her.

No one really knew about Scotty. He was her muggle boyfriend. She didn't really like telling anyone about him, especially since she was in Slytherin. The only thing about it was that she really had loved Scotty. He treated her like no other boy had before. They never even had sex, which was odd for Bella. He treated her like a queen. It broke her heart the day she had to break up with him. She ran her finger underneath her eyes to dry them and waited for Abby to answer her.

Abby smirked and said"no it isn't a problem." she shrugged. then she heard Bella's other questions."i just like being out here. i come out side to think and stuff, so usually i am alone. i actually enjoy being alone, although it gets boring sometimes."she shrugged again then asked "what are you doing out here by yourself, without your slytherin buddies?"she thought it strange seeing her alone when usually she seen slytherins travel in packs. frankly she didn't know what to expect.

She smiled and nodded. "Good....I'm glad it's not a problem," she said to Abby. She continued to play with the necklace. It was just a plain silver necklace, but it was very valuable. It was real sterling silver and cost about 250 dollars. Scotty had given it to her a few weeks before they started dating. She hadn't taken it off since then

She laughed at Abbys' next question. "I know...it's weird not seeing me with a pack of Slytherins around me. No...I just got a letter from my mum. Sometimes I hate that women. I just came out here to think about her...and someone else," she said, softly. She looked down at her hand and saw the ring Scotty gave her. She smiled at it and sighed. It was a promise ring that he had given to her 3 months prior to now.

Abby smiled and said "i might be a gryffindor, but i don't care about a person's house.because the houses only show one side of a person's personality." then she said with a smile, "I would ask why you hate your mother or whatever, but i am not nosy. but if you want to talk about it, i am a good listener. " she shrugged. i mean it wasn't like Bella was going to trust her or will she? again she doesn't know.most people see the partier side of Abby but there is a calm, quiet listener part somewhere inside.

Bella glanced at Abby. She had a point. Most of the people here at Hogwarts just judge people by their houses. Bella could tell Abby was a different type of person. She took a deep breath.

"Well....my mum doesn't really care for my going here. She thinks it's horrible that I'm here. And she hates it that I'm in Slytherin. Every letter she sends me, she puts me down. I hate it. She doesn't like my boyfriends. That's why after I graduate, I'm gonna run away and get married to my ex-boyfriend. He gave me this ring 3 months ago while asking me to marry him. He also gave me this necklace," she said, quietly. She stared out at the sky.

Usually Bella didn't share that much stuff with a girl she barely knew, but what the hell. Everyone deserves a chance. And Bella was willing to give this Gryffindork...I mean Gryffindor a chance.
