eleven pm [ish]
Drumming her fingers anxiously on the table, Elysia's green orbs glanced over to the grandfather clock to the right of her. The smell of books, dust and parchment filled the air of the library, in which she was sitting, quite alone. The face read five past eleven, and Ellie wondered silently where the librarian was. It was meant to close at eleven on the dot, and anytime after that the librarian [ who was such a horrible woman ] started to literally throw you out, demanding time for 'her' books to rest. Who honestly referred to books as a living thing? "Someone that was mad, that's who." She replied to her silent question, her voice sounding strangely alone and loud compared to the silence that had once been present. With a scraping of the chair, Dee stood up, pushing the chair backwards with her by the backs of her knees. She walked away from the table she had been sitting at, also leaving the four books scattered there, open for the dust to settle in their pages.
Ellie exited the room and shut the library door behind her quietly. Even though in the house of Gryffindor, it was untrue to say Dee was not clever, and also found the library a place of sanctuary when she got fed up with everything. But now she had spent some time alone in there, she begun to feel bloody hungry. She hadn't eaten since lunch as she skipped dinner in favour for chatting with her friends and doing homework. Actually, her homework had never been finished because she had been too interested in the conversation going on between the group of Gryffindors that she called her best friends. So she made the quick decision to turn the opposite way from the Gryffindor Tower, and go down to the Kitchens.
It was the best place to go if she wanted food, and she could probably fell asleep quite comfortably in the warm room as well. It would save her from having to walk up the seven flights of steps again to her bed; and the house elves would give her some blankets to pull over her slender body to keep her content in her sleep. After a few short cuts and jogging down two flights of stairs, Ellie arrived in front of the portait of a fruit bowl. Grinning at how on earth the founders thought up such an entrance to the kitchens, she reached out and tickled the pear with her index finger. It squirmed away from her touch after a second and then the portrait swung open.
Smiling, she entered the kitchens, where she was instantly greeted with a chorus of 'Good evening's and Ellie turned to the nearest elf. The things wore a mismatch of clothes, but she felt no pity for them. After all, they were only minor creatures, and they lived to serve wizards and witches alike. "Some waffles and a cup of tea." The elf instantly bowed at her then scurried away, making the ordered food. Elysia took this as a chance to seat herself, and she did, on the nearst bench to her. There were four benches in the room, each the same, long size, as they mirrored the ones above in the Great Hall. Now she just had to wait for her requested items and her hunger could be fed

Morgan's favorite thing to do this late was to go out and practice her seeker skills out on the empty quidditch pitch. She waited for people to pack up their broomsticks and leave before she snatched her own silver firebolt and pushed off of the ground with her left foot. She at first just did a couple of laps around the pitch, working on her speed, before soaring back to the ground and walking to the chest of quidditch balls. She opened the chest, the bludgers immediately beginning to rattle inside, and took the golden snitch in her hand, letting it fly into the air. She mounted her broom once more, and began to chase after the golden ball. Not only did she receive her father's personality and appearance, but also his quidditch skills. It was her favorite hobby, and something she was also pretty darn good at.
After a few rounds of grabbing the snitch, it felt a little too routine, and the silence hanging around the place felt a little .. creepy. The only sound was her stomach telling her it was time to eat. The past few days Morgan had only been eating a few pieces of bread or a small pastry. She didn't have an eating disorder or anything, she just hadn't been hungry and this was the first time she actually felt that unfamiliar feeling. She placed a hand on her stomach, her other hand still holding the snitch, and flew back down until her feet touched the ground.
After putting away the snitch and chest along with it, she headed back to the castle, her broomstick still clutched in her right hand. She didn't feel like walking all the way back up to her dorm [Okay, so it wasn't that far..], so she just walked straight to the kitchens. After tickling the pear and whatnot, she was soon surrounded by small house-elves. Oh how she couldn't stand those things. Shudder. They were little pests, that as far as Morgan could see, were useless.
She took her usual spot on a stool as she thought about what she exactly wanted to eat. She took no notice of the Gryffindor girl, only concerned about what she wanted to fill her stomach with..
