Lori walked along a dungeon corridor, wandering aimlessly around the castle. It was late at night and well past curfew, but that wasn't about to stop her. She didn't know exactly why she picked the dungeons to explore, but here in the dark it seemed less likely that she would caught. She'd been thinking a lot lately and being alone helped her really focus on her thoughts. She thought about her friends, of course, but also Mikey. She didn't know how he felt about her or if it was anything deeper than just friends. She also didn't know if something was going on with him and Riddle. Lori shook her head and continued along the corridor, watching her feet in the darkness with the only light coming from the flickering torches that lined the stone walls.

"Oh, is it really? I'm sorry, you see, I haven't the money to invest in a watch. If it's alright with you, I'll just be going to my dorm now," Lori said with a polite smile. Of course it was past midnight, she wasn't completely retarded, the Sorting Hat didn't stick her in the wrong house. She could get herself out of anything, usually. But these days all she could count on was her charm and manners. Her appearance always threw people off; they thought she was up to no good all the time. Or whatever. No, she mostly stuck to the rules, if they weren't completely ridiculous. Hopefully, Potter would let her go with a warning at the most. No detentions here. I mean, seriously, what's the purpose in giving a detention for being out of bed after curfew? She hadn't done anything bad. Yet.

"I'm not lying," She said. Not necessarily, anyway... "Okay, so I know I'm out of bed after curfew. But, I'll go back to my dorm. I just couldn't sleep and didn't feel like sitting around in the common room." Exactly. Well, it wasn't too far from the truth. If she was tired, she would be sleeping. So, instead of being restless in bed, she chose to wander around the dungeons. Wouldn't anyone?"
