Morgan Malfoy ran a brush through her blonde hair, while slipping on a light black jacket and a pair of worn out skinny jeans. Her only makeup was a hint of eyeliner, much different from her usual heavy eye covering. It was becoming cooler outside from the autumn weather now kicking into gear, and it didn't take much for Morgan to become freezing cold. She pulled on a pair of black flats and headed out of her dormitory door. She had no clue where she was headed, but anything was better than being closed up inside where she was to sit around until the extreme amount of boredom forced her to do something stupid. Plus, it was actually a nice day outside, so you never knew who you would run into.
It was only a little past ten in the morning, so not many people were out and about. True enough, Morgan was not a morning person, but there were the occasional days where she awoke bright and early. Out of the few people scattered around in the corridors, only about two gave her a friendly wave. She took no notice, keeping her head down as she walked. She never paid attention to what people did around her when she was strolling. She just never seemed to care about anyone else, especially if they were doing something that didn't include her.
Finally out on the grounds, Morgan spotted a few students sitting underneath a tree, every now and then letting out a sychronized fit of laughter and giggles. That's what really made her annoyed, girls attempting to flirt by fluttering their long eyelashes and giggling with that high pitched giggle of theirs. She scoffed in a disgusted way and continued her walk, eventually ending up in the village of Hogsmeade.
She had some money in her pocket, but not really in the mood to shop. Instead, she looked through the large windows in front of shops and stared at their merchandise. She then shrugged, deciding the Three Broomsticks might not be too crowded yet, and casually walked through the double doors. She was right, there were only a couple of people inside, and for once the shop was quiet. Morgan took a seat at a corner booth, wincing every time the door made the faint dinging sound signaling someone was coming in.

Vox had gotten out of the castle early. Lately she had been feeling so trapped and so cooped up...it was like being back home. She rolled her eyes thinking of home. 'More like prison' Anyway, having wandered the grouds eating her breakfast, which consisted of taost and jam, Vox made her way into the village of Hogsmeade.
As Vox entered different shop and such she smile at the Halloween decorations about the place. Halloween. Her favourite holiday. There was just something about this time of year that gave her a warm fuzzy feeling that most people get at Christmas time. The smile only dropped off her face when the shopowners kept eyeing her appearance.
As far as Vox was concerned there was nothing exactly peculiar about her. Was it something about her clothes? She was dressed in a black shirt with the slogan 'Hands off...' sprawled across the chest in white, she then had a pair of ripped and tattered jeans on. A pair of boots thencovered her feet. Maybe it was something about her hair? Today she had scraped it up into a bun with a few loose curls around her face. No...Then perhaps it was her make up... Vox had outlined her eyes heavily in black eyeliner. She had then drew and filled in a large star on her brown eye and cheek. It was a turquoise colour and the outline was black.
Well whatever the reason Vox didn't care what they said. After a while of wandering around in the cold and getting strange looks she decided a drink at the Three Broomsticks was well deserved. She walked into the building quietly, the bell announcing her presence. Walking up to the bar she ordered a butterbeer and looked around with her bright eyes. Over in the corner she saw a friend and walked over.
"Hello Morgan." Vox greeted her fellow Slytherin quietly. "Mind if I join you?"

Morgan had her head turned to the side, looking out of the window at the people passing by. Some alone, others in groups or with their lovers or whatever they were. She felt a little silly, sitting in a booth all by herself, just sitting there, but she quickly got over that. She loved watching people, in a non stalkerish way, and whatever the hell they were doing at the time. Some people did the strangest things when they thought no one was watching, little did they know a blonde haired girl with an infamous last name was looking over at them with a curious expression.
She snapped out of her 'trance' when she heard a familiar voice. She looked up to see Vox and smiled. "Hey Vox." She said. "Nah, go ahead." She motioned to the empty space in front of her. "How've you been?" It seemed like ages since Morgan had talked to someone in her house, her so called friends.

Vox slid into the seat opposite Morgan. She shrugged, "I guess I've been ok. Finished off another one of Grizabelle Fanghook's series of books." she informed her friend. Everyone who knew of Vox, as many people did not actually know her, knew that she was constantly reading quite advanced books. "How about you? Where have you been hiding?"

Morgan, quite the opposite, hated reading. She used to love it, drooling over the books she read while mental pictures took over. Recently, though, she just couldn't stand staring at a page with words on it. She couldn't seem to pay attention enough to concentrate on what the words were saying. It was the exact same way during class. She could care less what was coming out of the professor's mouth, instead doodling on a blank piece of parchment while she thought about more important things, such as - her life.
Morgan laughed a little. "I haven't really been hiding; just trying to figure out what I'm going to do. It's my last year here - but I still haven't really had a chance to do anything .. crazy?" She wasn't sure if that was the right word, but it just seemed to fit.

As morgan replied goosebumps appeared on her skin and realisation dawned on Vox. This was Morgan's last year. No! She was going to be losing one of the people she trusted. Vox did not show the worry and stress she felt on her face. "Well what do you mean...crazy?" Vox asked her curiously and calmly. "You want to leave a mark at Hogwarts..."
A waiter soon came over with a bottle of buterbeer for Vox, she gave him a smile and he walked off. Vox lifted the bottle to her lips and let the warm liquid trickle down her throat.

There were good side and bad sides to be leaving this place. Good? Well, she could finally go out in the world for her own, without anyone handing her a piece of parchment and demanding she write a three page essay about some stupid potion. Bad? Well, I think I covered that one. Oh, and she would leaving her friends of course. Friends she had actually gotten pretty close to. Oh and the boys. Oh the boys...
Morgan pointed a finger at Vox. "Exactly." She put her finger down. "I want to make a mark at Hogwarts." She repeated. "You know, other than my last name being Malfoy.."

"I understand what you mean Morgan." Vox said placing the bottle down. So many people knew her because she was a Malfoy. There was no use in hiding behind the family name. It was all of who someone was. "Well, have you had any ideas?" Vox asked her friend.

Morgan absolutely hated the fact that she was judged by her surname. She could just others all she wanted; whether it be by their appearance, name, or tone of speech. No, that didn't matter, but when people judged her for the word Malfoy being stuck at the end of her name, she became furious. It wasn't something she could help. Ah, the mind of a true hypocrite at work. Maybe she needed to start spending less time with her father.
"Not at the moment. Hopefully something will come to me." She shrugged her shoulders. "Do you have any ideas?" She asked.

Vox looked at her. "Hmmm....yeah but it's a messy one....and it might not work." Vox told her honestly. She had tried it on her brothers and it had worked well. Vox smiled as she remembered it. They had never trusted her with food again.

Messy. Now that sounded like a plan. Morgan had pulled her fair share of pranks [well what kind of Slytherin hadn't?], but none of them had been enough to just sit back and say, Whoa. They were the simple ones; turning people's hair different colors, making treats explode, the usual things. A simple prank just wouldn't cut it to get her remembered for anything special. It had to be .. HUGE.
Morgan propped her elbows on the table and rested her head on her hand, leaning forward a little. "Hmm, explain explain." She urged.

Vox looked at Morgan. "Well, let's say it contains some strong laxative and clingfilm over the toilet seats....but that might not be big enough." Vox said. She was still thinking what Morgan could do. To leave a mark at Hogwarts wasn't Vox's thing. She just wantd to sail through school, pretty much unnoticed.

Morgan let out a soft laugh while tapping her fingers against the surface of the table, lifting her hand in the air to stop a waitress. She ordered a butterbeer quickly before turning her attention back to Vox and away from her dry throat. She thought about it for a moment. Maybe if she got ideas from enough people, she could someone twist them altogether to form a really big idea, a really good big idea. The waitress came back, setting a glass of butterbeer down in front of Morgan, and she took a sip.
"Hmmm, it might be. But I'm thinking more of a plan that would mess with the whole school." She replied.
